Admissions

 

All children must be registered before attending Play Start. 

 

 

Registering your child

  • Call Julie Barker, our Registration Secretary, on 01491 671134 to check availability of places.
  • Download the registration form (PDF document).
  • Complete, sign and hand it to our supervisor or post it to the registration secretary (address on the form) with your registration fee cheque. 

Once we have received your form we will confim the days on which your child has a place and the amount due for that term. Please pay fees within 5 days of being offered a place to guarantee it will be held for you.

 

Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

 

 

Fees
Our fees are £9.75 per session, per child and £2 for the optional lunch club. 


Any changes in fees will be communicated though a parents’ newsletter.  Our fees are payable half termly in advance, and are due in the first week of term or within 1 week of joining. 

 

Please settle promptly as we are an entirely self-funded charity and need to pay our staff and rent.  We can offer payment by instalments if necessary – please speak to the treasurer.

 

Fees are still payable if your child cannot attend due to holidays or illness.

 

 

Assisted Places
We can offer assisted places to those who may have difficulty paying some or all of the fees. Any request is treated in the strictest confidence.

 

 

Notice period

Half a term's written notice or fees in lieu of notice are required if you wish your child to stop attending Play Start.
